Susan Dillon acquired an interest in photography over twenty-five years ago. Her primary subjects were children. She worked in black and white, developing and printing her images. Susan captured the energy and innocence of the young. As time passed, her interest shifted from children to nature.

Over the years Susan has studied photography through classes and workshops, sharpening her skills. Upon returning to California in 1985, she began photographing the natural beauty of Santa Clara County. Within the past 5-10 years Susan began to explore art in architecture, resulting in images reflecting the design and texture of various structures.

Susan studies the elements of light and perspective. Using color she is always striving for simplicity. A true believer in "less is more". Susan's goal is to share with others our ever changing landscape and compose through her camera lens the beauty of our unique surroundings.

Susan has won many awards for her photography through juried shows in San Jose, Los Gatos, Carmel, and Gilroy. Her framed enlargements and greeting cards can be seen at Gallery Morgan Hill, 17490 Mon
terey Rd., Valley Art Gallery, Salinas and Solis Winery Gilroy. Commissions on request.
